Nations and God's Sovereignty
Genesis 10, often referred to as the Table of Nations, outlines the descendants of Noah's sons and the formation of various nations. This chapter highlights God's sovereignty in the distribution and establishment of nations across the earth.
This theme connects to God's promise to Noah to repopulate the earth (Genesis 9:1) and sets the stage for the diversity of nations that will later be addressed in the Abrahamic covenant (Genesis 12:3) and the ultimate gathering of all nations in Revelation.
