Active Presence of God

The active presence of God refers to the belief that God is continually involved in the world and in the lives of believers, guiding, sustaining, and empowering them through His Spirit.

Throughout biblical history, God's presence has been a central theme, from the Garden of Eden where God walked with humanity, to the tabernacle and temple where His glory dwelled, culminating in the incarnation of Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
