Balaam's Prophecies

Balaam's prophecies are found in the Book of Numbers, where he, a non-Israelite prophet, is summoned by Balak, the king of Moab, to curse the Israelites. Instead, Balaam delivers blessings and prophetic insights about Israel's future.

Balaam was a diviner from Mesopotamia, and his story occurs during the Israelites' journey to the Promised Land. The Moabites, fearing Israel's strength, sought to undermine them through Balaam's curses.
