1. Solomon

   King of Israel, son of David, known for his wisdom.

   Solomon begins his reign by seeking God and offering sacrifices at the high place in Gibeon. God appears to him in a dream, offering him anything he desires. Solomon asks for wisdom and knowledge to govern the people, which pleases God. As a result, God grants him not only wisdom but also wealth and honor.
