Paul Meets Timothy
Paul encounters Timothy in Lystra, a young disciple well spoken of by the believers. Paul decides to take Timothy along on his missionary journey, circumcising him because of the Jews in the area.
This event highlights the importance of cultural sensitivity in ministry and the willingness to make personal sacrifices for the sake of the Gospel.
Timothy becomes a significant figure in the early church, later receiving letters from Paul that are part of the New Testament (1 & 2 Timothy).
