1. God

   Creator of the heavens and the earth.

   In Genesis 1, God is the central figure who speaks the universe into existence. Over six days, God creates light, sky, land, seas, vegetation, celestial bodies, animals, and humanity. Each act of creation is declared 'good,' and humanity is made in God's image, given dominion over the earth.
