Judah
A region in the southern part of ancient Israel, characterized by hills and valleys.
Judah was the territory of the tribe of Judah, one of the twelve tribes of Israel, and later became the southern kingdom after the division of Israel.
Judah is significant as the location of Jerusalem, the capital city, and the center of Jewish worship and governance.
Judah represents the chosen lineage through which the Messiah, Jesus Christ, would come, fulfilling God's covenant promises.
