The Eastern Tribes Return Home
Joshua commends the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh for their faithful service and releases them to return to their lands east of the Jordan, as promised by Moses.
This event highlights the importance of faithfulness and obedience to God's commands, as well as the fulfillment of God's promises to His people.
The return of these tribes to their allotted lands fulfills the promise given by Moses in Numbers 32, demonstrating God's faithfulness in keeping His covenant with Israel.
