Future King (Messiah)

The concept of the Future King, often referred to as the Messiah, is a central theme in both the Old and New Testaments, representing the anticipated deliverer and ruler who will establish God's kingdom on earth.

The Jewish people, under Roman occupation during the New Testament period, longed for a Messiah who would liberate them and restore the Davidic kingdom, leading to a heightened expectation of a future king.
